At this time the MSE is compatible with only Cisco
Access Points for wIPS and location tracking in addition to other key functions
such as ClearAir which are specific to the Cisco APs.
Cisco does have the Ability to
manage 3rd party APs with the MSE’s management front end under Prime
Infrastructure, however the advanced features are specific to the Unified Cisco
Wireless Solution.
